Who we are

Socialpass is a directory of Latin and Afro-Latin dance socials and festivals. You must be at least 18 to create an account or buy tickets.

The service

Browsing and discovering events is free. Most listings link out to the organizer’s own event page or ticket source. Some organizers sell tickets directly through Socialpass.

Tickets

Tickets are sold by the event organizer; Socialpass acts as the organizer’s ticketing agent. Refunds are at the organizer’s discretion — contact the organizer to request one.

If you’re in the EU or UK: tickets to a leisure event with a specific date are excluded from the standard right of withdrawal (Consumer Rights Directive Art. 16(l)) — once your purchase is complete, you can’t cancel simply because you changed your mind. The organizer’s own refund policy still applies.

Organizer terms

Socialpass charges a 3% platform fee on ticket sales. The rest is paid out to you via Stripe Connect in stages around the event.

Acceptable use

Don’t post fake events or impersonate an organizer. To edit a listing or sell tickets you have to verify that you run the event. We remove listings that break these rules.

Only upload an image you have the right to use — that means event posters, event cover images, and your own profile photo. If an image of yours is on Socialpass and shouldn’t be, email hello@socialpass.me and we’ll take it down.

Liability

We list events; we don’t run them. We ask organizers to keep listings accurate but can’t verify every detail in real time, and we’re not responsible for what happens at an event. Socialpass is provided as is, without warranty.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when the current version took effect.
